Lincoln Property Jefferson at Westtown

Lincoln Property Jefferson at Westtown by Pottery Barn

A residential club house and leasing office in Chester County, Pennsylvania Challenge: Serving as the first impression for prospective renters, Jefferson at Westtown's clubhouse and leasing offices needed a warm, inviting look to make future residents feel right at home. In addition to attracting new renters, the property managers wanted existing residents to use the clubhouse more often, including renting it out for special occasions. "We obtained bids from local interior designers, but Pottery Barn offered us a great deal with the best quality," says Jefferson at Westtown. Solution: For the clubhouse, Pottery Barn's Ed Campbell created a functional yet inviting space with a warm color palette, soft textures and smart seating arrangements throughout. For the leasing offices, he used large-scale artwork and comfortable upholstery to make the rooms feel less like business offices and more like relaxed meeting spaces. "We stretched their budget by spending smartly on bulk furnishings and saving enough money for great decorative pieces," says Ed. "They loved our choices so much that they asked us to advise on complimentary paint colors for the walls." Result: Once outdated and uninviting, the clubhouse and leasing offices now offer an elevated communal space for new and existing residents to enjoy. "The response has been fantastic. We're attracting more renters and better serving the ones we currently have," says Jefferson at Westtown. "Pottery Barn listened to our suggestions and offered ideas until the outcome was simply perfect!"
