Pottery Barn Contract Details

HOW IS THE CONTRACT COLLECTION DIFFERENT FROM YOUR RETAIL LINE?

Like our retail line, the Contract Collection is masterfully designed using high-quality materials — except it’s constructed and upholstered to commercial-grade standards.

WHAT DOES YOUR TESTING COVER?

The collection has been tested to meet the standards of the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA), a third-party nonprofit.

WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME?

Initial orders take about five months to arrive; reorders can be expected within four months.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY?

It varies from product to product. Some upholstered items have no minimum order quantity.

DO YOU OFFER SAMPLES OF FURNITURE & LIGHTING?

We do not hold stock of contract items. Samples may be ordered through your WSI Contract Sales Representative.

west elm Hospitality Details

HOW IS THIS PRODUCT DIFFERENT FROM YOUR CURRENT RETAIL LINE?

The west elm Contract collection has been selected and upgraded for use in commercial applications. Upgrades include harder, more scratch-resistant finishes, durable drawer runners, increased foam density and commercial-grade fabric applications.

WHAT DOES YOUR TESTING COVER?

The west elm Hospitality collection has been tested in accordance with the third-party standards of BIFMA, the Business + Institutional Furniture Manufacturing Association.

DO YOU CUSTOMIZE PRODUCTS?

Our in-house product design team can customize products for a project if it meets our minimum requirement. The minimum depends on the product line but ranges from 100-300 units. The lead time for a custom project ranges between 8-12 months.

WHAT IS YOUR FABRIC OFFERING? DOES IT INCLUDE COM?

We cannot facilitate “Customer Own Material” for upholstery orders due to compliance restrictions. We have partnered with DESIGNTEX to curate a collection of commercially rated fabrics for this collection, and we can also specify fabrics from other approved vendors on request.

WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME?

Our Made-In-The-USA collection of upholstery is available within 8-10 weeks of receiving payment. Our imported collections are available within 20-24 weeks of receiving payment.

Please note: Fabric lead time can add to these time frames.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY?

Because our collection is produced when ordered, production minimums do apply for most items. Most minimums range from 30–100 units depending on the item.

HOW DOES THE WSI CONTRACT PROGRAM DIFFER FROM THE TRADE PROGRAM?

Our To The Trade program assists designers, specifiers and developers in buying our residential collections with ease. The WSI Contract program has been developed for environments that require a more comprehensive level of testing.

CAN I GET SAMPLES OF FURNITURE AND LIGHTING?

If you require a sample, we suggest working with your WSI Contract Sales Representative to secure the domestic version of the design. We do not hold stock of Contract items.

A NOTE ABOUT OUR LIGHTING COLLECTION:

Our retail lighting collection is UL-approved and can be used for commercial applications. Please use discretion when specifying the product to make sure it meets requirements for ADA & damp areas.

DOES WILLIAMS-SONOMA, INC. AND ITS BRANDS RENT OR LOAN FURNITURE?

Currently, the program does not provide for rent the loan or rental of furnishings to its members.

HOW DO I REMOVE MY NAME FROM YOUR MAILING LIST?
